The Line - The Film

The brief was as follows: Our group had to produce a 5 minute film as a tool to understanding and unraveling the urban fabric and the character of the line.  The process was designed to make us look deeper, mapping the following elements along the line; Colour, texture, form, outline, transparency, visual grain, pattern, rhythm, repetition, light and shade.  

This was the initial storyboard developed by Alex, Sarah and myself on 8th March...  quite enjoyed the process story boarding. 16 scenes, 16 different skylines.

Words relating to each scene/location - the ambition was to capture these feeling in the film, forming the essential narrative.

Storyboard development - the idea of framing each shot to describe the skyline or spatial feeling at a particular location.
